We announce the death of Caroline C. Tarbell (Akwesasne, New York), who passed away on June 19, 2026, at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis McDonald and Sarah Cecilia McDonald (Arquette); her husband Roy Tarbell; her son-in-law Troy Skidders; her sister Beatrice; her brother-in-law Phil Francis; her brother Wayne; and her sister-in-law Irene McDonald.

She is survived by: her children, Stacy Skidders of Akwesasne and Robert Scott Simmons (Clyda) of Akwesasne; her stepchildren, Carla Cree (Ralph), Rodney Tarbell (Cindy) and Robin Tarbell (Margaret); her grandchildren, Storm, Cole and Sadie; her great grandchild Wells; her grandson Ryan McDonald; and her siblings, Sylvia McDonald, Shirley White (Phil), Eloise Massaro, Dennis and Sherwood McDonald. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
