He is survived by: his close friend Sherril Lazare; his children, Eric Sisto of Akwesasne, Hayden of Akwesasne, Maryn of Akwesasne, Madison Thompson of Akwesasne, Dane Lafrance of Akwesasne and Darrick Thomas of Utica; his grandchildren, Chandler, Carter, Cora Peyton (Chelsey Jacobs) and Rowan (Morgan Gray); his siblings, Tammy Mitchell, Aaron Day Phillips (Breanne Herne), Susan Chubb of Akwesasne, William, Rebecca Benko and Michelle Henson (Aaron) of Bombay; his aunts, Dora (John Lazore), Josephine (Josh Leaf) and Anne (George Wheesk); his uncle Phillip Jingles Mitchell; and his godmother Esther Jock.
