He is survived by : his wife Eleanor Glover Hulsey; his daughters, Donna Prater (Mike), Rome, Nora Chandler (John), Rebecca Keaton and Kennesaw; his sister Bernice Hulsey Walker; and his grandchildren, Emily Stapelton, Jennifer Smith, Thomas Wheeler, Caleb Pratet, Kirk Yardley, Joe Yardley, Isabella Keaton and Eli Keaton. He is also survived by 5 Great Grandchildren.

“Eleanor, I just discovered that you lost Jim. This is your old neighbors from Beacon Drive, Irondale. We certainly loved and appreciated y’all. When the blizzard of’93 came and we lost power, you had us come over and stay with you. My kids, especially, Hannah loved chatting away to Mr. Jim. Know that our prayers are with you.
