She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bovee and Marguarette Champagne Bovee; her son James J. Hicks; and her siblings, Edward, Elmer, William, Guy, Cyril Eggleston, Ruth Eggleston, Lillian LaRose, Evelyn Burrows and Ethel Wilcox.
She is survived by: her son Kevin R. Hicks, Sr. (Deborah) of Guilderland; her daughter-in-law Shirley Hicks (late James) of Castleton; her grandchildren, Kevin R. Hicks, Jr., Sean M. Hicks, Sr. (Heather), Lorrie L. Pizzola (Victor), Kimberli L. Carpenter (Gregory) and Jamie Hicks-Furgang (Michael); her great grandchildren, Kay-Leigh Hicks, Sierra, Anthony Pizzola, Trevor, Spencer Carpenter, Sidney Jude Furgang, Conor and Sean Hicks, Jr.; and her friend Patricia Scheidel.
