He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Susan (Frohe); his parents, Irish Walsh and Pierce Walsh; his children, Courtney Walsh and Meghan Heister (Joseph); his grandchildren, Madeline, Daniel and Sophia Heister; and his siblings, Kathryn Neubert, Josephine Brennan, Virginia Piccioli and Joseph Walsh.
