She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jerry Drowns and Grace Drowns; her husband Bob Bangert-Drowns; her sons, Chris and Mike; her aunt Suzie; her uncles, Hank and Giovanni; her siblings, Tom (Rosemary), Anne (Dave), Ellen (Matt) and Laura (Ron); and her siblings-in-law, John (Jill), Janet (Alan), Ellen (Ed), Jean (Rich) and Martin (Erin). She was also cherished by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins, and innumerable friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions could be made to the Bangert-Drowns Endowment for Diversity in Teaching & Educational Leadership at the University at Albany. Alternatively, donations could be made to our beloved St. Vincent de Paul Church in Albany, specifying either the Food Pantry (serving Albany's hungry) or the De Marillac Fund (which supported Diana's art retreats for the parish) in your check's memo line.
