Diane Gold Koenig Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Gold Koenig of Albany, New York, who passed away on March 23, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Edmund; her son Michael; her grandchildren, Emily, Sam and Callie; her parents, Toby Gold and Irving Gold; her sister Carole-Beth; her brother-in-law Lewis Goldberg; and her nephews, Eric and Jeffrey Goldberg.
An illness forced her to prematurely retire in 2002, after which she was granted Professor Emeritus status and continued to proudly lead the faculty procession at graduation until Covid hit.
