He was predeceased by: his parents, Meredith Collins and Wilbert Perry. He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Collins, Carol Jones and Priscilla Patterson; his children, Denise Ashley, Robert Ashley Jr. and Ann Bingham; and his grandchildren, Treyantae Leak, Emani Ashley, Alexzandra and Austin Bingham. He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews.
