He is survived by: his wife Ruby Rosenberg Steinhardt; his son John-Jay Steinhardt of Albany; his grandson Sam Steinhardt of Indianapolis; his stepson Jerry Marenberg (Anne Marie); his granddaughters, Sydney, Morgan Marenburg of McLean and Virginia; his stepdaughter Emily Marenburg of Highladnd, NY; and his sister Miriam Soffer of Albany.
