He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emmanuel Lee Taylor and Carrie Bell Galloway; his children, Darrell Carroll, Lamont Carroll, Nicole Taylor, Michael Taylor (Kimberly), Lakeesha Carroll, Derrick Taylor, Saludeen Roots, Shoniqua Taylor-Parker (Juaneko), Akeem Taylor, Kariym Taylor, Ebony Taylor, Shakeem Taylor (Heather) and Raheen Taylor; his siblings, Mary Taylor-Philips, Shonell Harris, Pat Taylor Gilyard, Emmanuel Taylor, Jr., Rowena Taylor Oliver, Alton Taylor, Milton Taylor and Doris Taylor Thomas; and his former wife Cheryl McPherson. He was also cherished by grandchildren, his eight plus great grandchildren.
