He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Dewing and Mildred F. Dewing (Dowling); his brother Paul Dewing; and his daughter Christine Dewing. He is survived by: his siblings, Tucker Dewing, Charles Dewing, Robert Dewing, Doris Dewing, Carol Dewing-Covell, Linda Bramble and Janet Pacheco; and his children, George T. Joslin (Pam) of Brockton, MA, John W. Joslin (Dorothy) of Brockton, MA, Jennifer A. Munger (Edward) of Schenectady, NY and Sandra Dewing of Somerville, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
