With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George M. Preston (Albany, New York), born in Schenectady, New York, who passed away on January 12, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent and Jennie; his sister Margaret; and his goddaughter Heather Megan Shepherd. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Articola; his daughter Sandra L. Preston (Charles J. Monestere); his grandson Matthew C. Monestere; his siblings-in-law, Karin, Robert J. Shepherd, Cheryl and Thomas Articola; his niece Christy Articola; and his brother Vincent. He is also survived by nieces, cousins.
His Catholic faith was the foundation of his life and he often attended daily Mass with Sandra.
