He was predeceased by: his father George Plante, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Susan Koffman; his stepfather Tom Cooper; his son Chris Plante; his siblings, Rebecca (Brody) and Matt (Danielle); and his nieces, Victoria and Lucie. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins; lifelong friends.

Due to Covid-19, there are no public ceremonies; the family thanks Levine Memorial Chapel for arrangements, as well as the first responders.
