He was predeceased by: his brothers, Theodore Yund and Michael; and his brothers-in-law, Nicholas Crecca and John "Jack" Shea. He is survived by: his sister Grace Healey; his wife Colleen Shea Yund; his children, George V. Yund (Kathryn), Marie Naef (Jason), Susan Horst (Timothy) and Meredith Loeck (Jonathan); his siblings, Mary Grace McCarthy (Walter), Barbara Crecca, Joseph Yund (Anne), Teresa MacDaniel (Phillip), Elizabeth Sarris (John), Peter Yund (Laura), Margaret Demeter (David), Anne Yund, Catherine Averill (Thomas), Regina Annello (Christian) and John Yund (Kimberly); his mother-in-law Barbara Keane Shea; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Pallozzi (Carmen), William Shea III, Daniel Shea, Michael Shea (Margaret) and Thomas Shea (Geraldine). He is also survived by 50 nieces and nephews.
