With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Cohen of Albany, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on November 7, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cohen of Brooklyn and Henrietta Cohen Kessler; and his stepfather Floyd Kessler of Albany. He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Cohen Sheinbaum (Joel) of Roslyn Heights, NY and Phyllis Kessler Slesinger (Scott) of Washington, DC; his siblings' children, William Sheinbaum (Karen), Stuart Sheinbaum (Dana), Meredith Slesinger and Jennifer Slesinger (Vincent); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Hilary, Justin, Matthew, Andrew, Emma and Vanessa Sheinbaum.
