She is survived by: her children, Leslie Venable-Baxter (Michael) and Angela Staley (Shameek); her grandchildren, Shalona Wylie, Tasharon Carr, Shanika Venable, Keith Ferguson and Ronneisha Workman; her great grandchildren, Mariah Surgick, Na'zarie Caldwell, Sur, Gion Surgick, Ra'sai Caldwell, ZyHir Carr, Rose Blades and Melody Blades; her sisters, Katherine Worthen and Ernestine Derico-Walker; her godchildren, Charles Pounds and Dashaya Smythe; her close friend Gerald Smith; and her niece Bonnie Everett. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
