He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Charles "Mike" Riley and Mary VanGuider Riley; his wife Lucille Riley (Koerner); his sisters, Jean Herald-Kobasa and Patricia Horan-Reed; his sister-in-law Maybelle Leigh; his stepson Douglas Sperry; and his nephews, Ray Leigh, Ronald Herald and Korey Briggs.
He is survived by: his stepson Russell Sperry of Circle; his sister Thon Gebo (Timothy) of Whitehall; his brother-in-law Michael Reed of Canon, GA; and his sibling's children, Mary Dworakowski (Ric) of Troy, Everett Mansfield (Kevin Abraszek) of Brooklyn, Deborah Crandall (Harold Sr.) of Melrose, Marty Horan (Sandy), Mike Horan, Maureen Sommer, Stacy Gebo, Timothy Gebo (Kathleen) of Glens Falls and Kim Hedley (Kevin) of Ballston Lake.
