It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. Walsh Sr. (Albany, New York), who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John J. Walsh Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Devery and John H. Walsh; his sisters, Marian Doring, Alma Walsh and Edna Kane; and his grandchild Kieran Walsh.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa M. Walsh (Kowalski); his grandchildren, Amanda Trinsey (Mike), Joey DeVito, James DeVito, Emily DeVito, Matt Snyder, John J Walsh III (Jack), Lindsay Ashley, Jenna Walsh, Collin Ashley, Sean Walsh and Kara Snyder; his great grandchildren, Hana, Elliana Trinsey, Sloane and Declan McKenna; and his granddaughter Katherine DeVito. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Because of covid, the funeral service for Jack will be held privately with the assistance of McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 N. Allen Street, Albany, NY.
