He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J. DeMercurio and Alice A. DeMercurio (Reichert); and his sisters, Maria Goliber and Genevieve Lucarelli. He is survived by: his wife Judith K. DeMercurio; his son Joseph J. DeMercurio; his daughter-in-law Lori L. DeMercurio (Dachenhausen); his son James M. DeMercurio; his daughter-in-law Jennifer DeMercurio (Finch); his daughter Julie A. Carlino (DeMercurio); his son-in-law Joseph Carlino; his grandchildren, Adrianna DeMercurio, Victoria DeMercurio, Brennan DeMercurio, Nina DeMercurio, Evan DeMercurio, Gianna Carlino and James Carlino; and his sister Nancy Comiskey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Comer Cremations & Funerals (343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michaels Episcopal Church (49 Killean Park, Albany, NY 12205). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 986 Watervliet Shaker Rd, Albany, NY 12205.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund.
