Lewis Rubenstein Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lewis Rubenstein formerly of Albany, New York, who passed away on March 18, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophie Gertskin Rubenstein and Sol Rubenstein; and his sister Barbara R. Lieberfeld. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen Aronowitz Rubenstein (Pat); his children, Carl A. Rubenstein (Deborah) and Louisa R. Lopez (Carlos); his grandchildren, Rachel Hemmerstein (Alex), Michael G. Lopez and Sarah A. Lopez; and his brother David P. Rubenstein. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Albany Symphony Orchestra, or the Rotary Club of Albany.
