It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Elena Lanides of Albany, New York, who passed away on June 19, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Perdaris and John Perdaris; and her niece Katherine Bayer. She is survived by: her children, Marcus and Ella; her former spouse Spiros Lanides (Spike); her children, Michael Lanides and Elizabeth Gentile (Frank); her grandchildren, Marcus and Ella; and her siblings, Tasia Dionissiou, Nick Perdaris, Dimitri Perdaris and Thalia Bayer. She is also survived by her children, extended family and their many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maria's name may be made to Meals on Wheels, care of LifePath (formerly Senior Services of Albany).
