He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Bernard and Kathleen Koonz-Williams. He is survived by: his children, Michael, Trever Bernard and Summer Fletcher; and his granddaughter Arianna Bernard. He is also survived by several siblings, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity.
