He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael O'Heaney and Anna O'Heaney (Murphy); and his siblings, Vincent of Paul O'Heaney and Mary Faith O'Heaney Austin. He is survived by: his wife Heather LaVigne O'Heaney (Eastman); his children, Eileen FitzPatrick (Michael), Donald LaVigne (Calgary), Michael O'Heaney (Laura) and Nora McGrath (Shawn); and his grandchildren, Seamus, Caitlin, Fiona, Sinead FitzPatrick, Ava, Margot, Remy LaVigne, Charlotte Kurre O'Heaney, Rory, Regan and Kieran McGrath. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
