He is survived by: his siblings, Nora Hynes (Larry) of Galway, Joseph Hession (Kathleen Glynn) of Plainfield, IL, John Hession, James Hession and Mary Murphy; his sisters-in-law, Florence Hession (Phelan) and Annette Hession of Galway Ireland; his children, Michael John Hession (Penny), Mary Hession, Brendan Hession (Margaret Gecewicz) and Nora Stevens (James); his grandchildren, Heather Hession (Corey Johnson) of Albany, NY, Jesse Hession (Kelly Hourigan), Shannon Stevens, Michael B. Hession and Nicole Hession; and his great grandchildren, Arielle Hession, Emily, Madelyn and Noah Hession. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
