With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael W. Barnes of Albany, New York, born in Oneonta, New York, who passed away on October 4, 2021 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Barnes and Patti Barnes (O'Brien); and his former wife Diana (Warner). He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Barnes of Albany, NY; his children, Dr. Ryan Barnes (Mandy) of San Diego, CA, Michael P. Barnes (Beth) of Boston, MA and Sara Barnes of Jacksonville Beach, FL; his grandchildren, Blake, Brooks, Tristan and Xander; and his brothers, Vern, William and James Barnes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mike's memory to the College Foundation at Delhi, for the Michael Barnes '75 Memorial Scholarship.
