He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Geraldo Perez and Salome Perez; his wife Carolyn Spencer Perez; his children, Julio Perez (Patricia), Brent (Anne Marie) of Amsterdam, Peter Perez (Jill) of Broadalbin, Paul Perez (Cindy) of Ballston Spa, Lisa Knapp (Richard) of Gloversville, Susan Gibbins (Gary), Jennifer Loya (Jason) of Galway and Amy Young (Linda) of Broadalbin; his son-in-law John Young, Jr. of Broadalbin; his siblings, Geraldo Perez of Puerto Rico and Rosa Melendez of Dania, FL; and his cousin Frankie Perez. He was also cherished by twenty one grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Melody Center at Albany Medical Center or to the Maria Fund, both in care of the funeral home.
