He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Esther Murphy Cornell and Richard T. Cornell, Sr.; his wife Stephanie Courcelle Cornell; his children, Michelle Cornell and Alissa Triplett (Travis); his stepchildren, Vanessa (Zan) and Michael; his sister Julie Wade (Mark); his grandchildren, Travis, Skyla and Santino; his brother-in-law Tony (Rozila); and his nephews, Jon (Cassandra) and Jake Clark (Courtney). He was also cherished by many loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may send donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
