It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Blades (Albany, New York), who passed away on July 30, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Gwendolyn, Arthur Venable, John and Lizzie Thomas; and her cousin Shadaya Carr.
She is survived by: her parents, Shalona Wiley and Donte Blades; her sisters, Suri D. M. Blades and Melody Blades; her grandparents, Leslie, Michael Venable-Baxter, Robaire M, Long and Keith A. J. Blades; her aunts, Shanika Venable and Chadijah Roberts; her uncle Philip S. R. Blades; her great-aunt Angela Staley (ShaMeek); and her godmother Quay Burch. She is also survived by God sisters Imeria, Mariah Surgick.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, social workers, and staff at Albany Medical Center NICU and Pediatric ICU, The OHANA Foundation, and the staff of Community Hospice for your continued, prayers and loving support.
