It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sanford A. Bookstein (Albany, New York), who passed away on July 14, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Gertrude Bookstein and Myron Bookstein; his wife Joyce; his sister Marjorie Kagan; his brothers-in-law, Alan Iselin and Max Kraus; his children, Paul Bookstein (Donna), Juli Karson (Dan) and Donald Bookstein (Helene); his grandchildren, Jonathan Bookstein, Andrew Bookstein (Jess), Sarah Bookstein, Sam Karson, Allison Bookstein and Evan Karson; his stepgrandchildren, Dawn Dilda, Denyse Duke, Deena Duke, Jeff Garber (Ryan), Rachel Dymond (Gabe) and Caren Droesch (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Leah, Lacey, Bradley, Isabella and Claire.
In lieu of flowers contributions in Sanford's memory may be made to the Congregation Beth Emeth General Fund.
