She is survived by: her sons, Todd Shapiro (Kristin) of Syracuse and Scott Shapiro (Deanna) of Latham; her grandchildren, Joseph of Fayetteville, Alyson of Syracuse, Zachary of Latham and Jacob of Latham; her brother Eric Greene (Vivian) of San Francisco; her close friend Richard Leighton; and her former husband Ron Shapiro.
