Sonia Rubenstein Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2020, at the age of 92, Sonia Rubenstein (Albany, New York), born in Brooklyn, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hannah Horowitz and Robert Horowitz; her husband Alan S. Rubenstein; her sister Zilla Sussman; her children, Leah, Lisa, David and Daniel; and her sister Judith Meltzer. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Due to the pandemic restrictions, there will be a graveside service with immediate family only.
Donations in her memory may be made to the JCC of Schenectady and/or a Democratic political candidate of your choice.
