He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Montague and Bess Montague; his wife Betty Montague; his sister Nancy Potts; and his son-in-law Alexander Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Smith, Judith Brunn (Michael) and Steven Montague (Barbara); and his sister-in-law Shirley Kron. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stanton's memory to Community Hospice Saratoga, The Salvation Army, or a charity of ones' choice.
