He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Straney and Helen (Dooley); his wife Maureen Straney (Legler); and his son Sean T. Straney. He is survived by: his daughters, Caillin Furnari (Straney) and Sherron Winkler (Straney); and his granddaughter Alexandria Furnari. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Out of an abundance of caution, due to the COVID pandemic, Services for Bill will be celebrated at a later date and time to be announced.
