He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ward and Lena Ward (Merriweather); his wife Gail; and his son Albert Ward Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Pamela Woodcook (Richard), Roxanne Brooks, Daniel Ward (Karen), Lora Hayes and Paul Ward (Tammy). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
