He is survived by: his children, Kim Cooper Truax (Bryan), Sam Cooper (Tracy) and Brian Read (Michelle); his daughter-in-law Molly Read; and his grandchildren, Ryan Flaherty (Amber Lyn), Jay Hodge, Jessica Hodge, Joelle Truax (Raja Palapu), Todne Csapo (Rob), Sean Crowe, Coty Read, Jenna Read (Chris Merica), Chad Cooper, Derek Cooper, Shelbi Stefaniak and Russell Flaherty. He is also survived by extended family, including his surviving siblings — he was one of nine — and several nieces and nephews.
