We announce the death of James B. Donnelly of Alden, New York, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 62. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bruce Donnelly and Patricia Donnelly; his siblings, Sandra Pietrowski and John Donnelly (Kerry Ann); his girlfriend Christine Gerhardt; his stepchildren, Jessica Reilly (Andy) and Jonathan Gerhardt; his nieces and nephews, Timothy Pietrowski (Jessica), Abbey MacFarlane (Brandon), Savannah Orlando (Mitch), Victoria Neurohr (Dave) and Thomas Pietrowski; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Peyton, John, Thomas, Eloise, Timothy and Josie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home (13228 Broadway, Alden, NY 14004). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's RC Church (2021 Sandridge Rd, Alden, NY 14004).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Make a Wish Foundation. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
