He was predeceased by: his wife Gretchen Smith; his sister Barbara Schultz; and his parents, Nicholas Smith and Caroline Smith. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Subsara (Steven), Melissa Gucinski (Ralph), Amy Talluto (Mike), Nicholas and Christopher; his grandchildren, Matthew Regan (Connie), Steven Subsara (Brittany), Kristina Subsara, Samuel Regan (Kelsey), Reiner, Maxwell Gucinski, Abbey and Gina Smith; his great grandchildren, Ryan Regan and Oliver Subsara; and his brother David Smith (Patricia).
