With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Norma C. Bartz of Alexander, New York, born in Batavia, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Brown and Christine Brown (Jensen); her siblings, Shirley Lear, Eleanor Stone, Harold Brown and Marie Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Eloise Brown, Patricia MacConnell, Richard Bartz and Gary Paul Bartz.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Bartz (late Mary) of Bradenton, FL, Paula Dean (late Joseph) of Macedon, Lisa Wall of Alexander and Jodi Hollwedel (Robert) of Bethany; her grandchildren, Jacqueline Santiago (Raymond), Samantha Bauer (John), Rachael McShea (Matthew), Mandy Sanford (Jeffrey), Emily Dean (Matthew Starobin) and Kirk Hollwedel; her great grandchildren, Delaney, Teagan and Kennedy McShea; her sister Peggy Pfalzer (Joseph); her siblings-in-law, Rose Bartz, Marcia Brown, Gerald Bartz and Larry MacConnell; and her pet Patches. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
