We announce the death of Thomas R. Schmieder Sr. of Alexander, New York, who passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 67. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father George Schmieder, Jr.; and his brother George Schiemder, III. He is survived by: his mother Janet Schmieder (Cortwright) of Attica; his son Thomas Schmieder, Jr.; and his siblings, Karen Schmieder (Pat Vides), Marian Smith, Lori Modafferi, Daniel Schmieder and Gary Schmieder (Molly).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
