Gale R. Lyon Obituary

As Gale departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gale may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gale leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her mother Janice Side Peterson; and her brother William Cunningham. She is survived by: her father Roger Peterson; her close friend Albert Faubert; and her sisters, Polly Beers (Mark Leeper), Alexandria Bay, Penny Maclean (Mark) of Brunswick, ME, Fern Fichthorn (Rob) and Linda Edgar (William). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John B. Lyman American Legion Post 904 (9 Rock St, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607).
