James R. Hagan Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James R. Hagan (Alexandria Bay, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Hagan and Hazel L. House Hagan; his sister Jean Gill; his grandson Brandon Hagan; and his son-in-law Steve Homoki.
He is survived by: his children, James L. Hagan (Amber) and Deborah Hagan; and his close friend Janice Riordan. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Costello Funeral Home (113 Church St, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607). A masonic service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Reformed Church (54 Church St, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607).
