He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brown and Hazel Marshall Brown; his sons, Douglas Brown Jr. and Jeffery Brown; and his brothers, David and Milton Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Gaynor Brown; his daughter Christine Brown of South Carolina; his brothers, John Brown (Mary) of Almond and Gerald Brown (Lisa) of Wellsville; his grandchildren, Keishia Decker, Tabetha Decker, Fiona McLane-Brown, Leeann, Kyland Folts, Devin Brown, Josh Brown and Lexi Remchuk; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Landyn, Parker, Zaraeh, Trenton and Abraham; his extended family, Bill, Wendy Dailey, Rick, Jeff, Billy, Kevin Dailey (family: Tom, Deb Nardi) and Chris Waiss; Denise Curry.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brown & Powers Funeral Homes - Hornell (354 Canisteo St, Hornell, NY 14843). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
