With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ann M. Scanlon (Allegany, New York), who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ann M. Scanlon to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony "Tony" Scarlato and Lena Agosti Scarlato; her husband Bernard P. "Bernie" Scanlon; and her brother Joseph "Jack" Scarlato. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Judith Scarlato; her niece Susan Scarlato (Joseph); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexandra and Camryn; her niece Linda Scarlato (Melissa); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryleigh and Mackenzie; and her cousin Annette Rogers Smith. She is also survived by numerous other cousins and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Bonaventure Church (95 E Main St, Allegany, NY 14706). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
