He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin L. Barton and Eleanor J. Donor Barton; his wife Barbara Murphy; and his brother Jerry Barton. He is survived by: his sons, David A. Barton, Jr. (Karen Welch) of Allegany, Robert C. Barton (Karen Frungillo) of Allegany and Ricky A. Barton (Tanya Camp) of Berryville, VA; his grandchildren, Cody Barton (Shelby), Nicole Barton, Julie Barton (Seth), Bradley Barton and Drake Barton; his great grandchildren, Lincoln Barton and Cayson Barton; and his brother Donald Barton (Anne) of Goose Creek, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
