Gary M. McCready Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary M. McCready of Allegany, New York, who passed away on September 1, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Gary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. McCready and Rita M. Pierce McCready; and his siblings, James W. McCready, David "Buzzy" McCready and Barbara Metcalf.
He is survived by: his daughter Gretchen M. Spencer of Olean; his grandsons, Dylan T. Spencer and Adam M. Spencer; and his close friends, Peter Chicola and James Brady. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
