She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon B. Kern, and Martha A. Cole Kern, Sr.; her former husband John Dennis Meacham; her husband William Joseph Mitchell; and her siblings, Grace Johnson, Leon Kern, Jr. and James Kern.
She is survived by: her son Christopher Meacham (Sally) of Allegany; her grandsons, Jonah Meacham and Joshua Meacham; her sister Sharon LeMage (David) of Custer City, PA; and her sister-in-law Delores "DeeDee" Kern of Utah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to a breast cancer awareness organization of the donor's choice.
