He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Karson, and Elizabeth M. Vislavsky Karson, Sr.; his son Kevin; and his siblings, Paul, Jr. and Sue.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Weaver; and his children, Rick Karson (Beth) of Ravenna, OH, Mike Karson (Pam) of Akron, OH, Krisie Vance (Andy) of Barberton, OH, Kim Cole (Dana) of Akron, OH and Robert Karson of Buffalo. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
