He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph R. Wanamaker and Maxine E. Edwards Wanamaker; and his girlfriend Peggy Lombardo. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Wanamaker of Buffalo; and his siblings, Brian Wanamaker of Allegany, Luanne Wanamaker of Jamestown and Gayla LaFredo (Jerry) of Henderson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
