We announce the death of William L. Howden of Allegany, New York, who passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 85. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Howden and Eleanor Shaw Howden; and his sister Nancy Zelliff. He is survived by: his wife Jacquelyn J. Wooley; his sons, Vincent Howden (Cindy) of Clymer, Monty Howden (Angie) of Allegany, Michael Howden of Allegany and Glenn Howden of Allegany; his grandchildren, Ann, Kaleena, Tiana, Christopher, Zoe, Margie and Mark; his great grandchildren, Hailey, Marissa, Chloe, Ayden, Ellie, Tatymn, Bubba, Morgyn, Samantha, Gavin, Logan, Jilliam, Brenna, Holde and Aidren; his great great grandchildren, Cooper and Mariella; his brother David Howden of Washington State; and his nieces and nephews, Shane, Laurie, Cindy, Luann, Bob and Steve.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to St. Bonaventure Parish, or to The Bridge, both addresses being 95 E. Main St., Allegany, NY 14706.
