It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Denison Thompson III of Alplaus, New York, born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Thompson and Helen Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Shawna Lambert; his mother-in-law Dolores Lambert; and his siblings-in-law, Eric Lambert (Susan), Scott Lambert (Lisa), Lauren Lambert and Kerri Lambert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Glenville Funeral Home (9 Glenridge Rd, Schenectady, NY 12302). The military honors will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
